I've installed a new credits system in the forum. You will now gain credits from posting and referring users (among other things).
Thanks to Skyline_GTR (admin of GamerzPlanet) for helping me getting my hands on the mod.

WotLK patch 3.0.3 is coming... |

As you've probably seen in the GamerzCore Updates section, I've been working real hard to get WotLK done recently. The ETA is around a week or so, but that's without any guarantee, though.
If you want to be fully prepared for WotLK, grab a download here. Don't install it yet though. Hang on until WotLK's ready.

Tier 4 vendors and Christmas event! |

Update: In addition, Dabignig is organizing a Black Temple raid. Join in here!
Anyway, tier 4 vendors have been added and they will appear once every week for 12 hours. They can be found in the Quel'thalas inn.
The Christmas event has also been enabled. This means you can get a quest from the Christmas Quest Giver in Quel'thalas which will give quite good rewards. Note: Read the quest details to get a clue where to look for the Christmas Quest Taker.

Donations for December needed... |

To think I would ever have to write something like this...
As much as I hate writing this, it has become a necessity. Who's to blame? Me and Blizzard. That I'll explain later, situation summary first: A total of $70 is needed for this month's payment of the server.
So, how can you donate? Simply go to your User CP and select Paid Subscriptions under Miscellaneous. From there, you can choose which payment type you want.
Now to why this is needed... Well, no worries about Blizzard. They're not screwing us (the server) over. Really (not yet, at least). Long story short: They took payment for something I absolutely didn't order... So, my carefully planned (and tight) economy got screwed up. Fantastic timing... Christmas. I'm attempting to contact them, but a refund seems impossible.
Anyway, if no donations are received, I'll most likely find another way to pay the server costs, but it most certainly won't be easy. I hate having to ask for donations, mostly because this is meant to be a 100% free service, but I see no other options right now.
I'm sorry.

After some tiring hours of figuring what was causing a segmentation fault in the IRCd, I got it back up and linked with XploitIRC. You can now connect through irc.gamerzwow.net again.

Move has been completed!
You can expect some bugs and small issues here and there, but we will work on fixing them right as they're spotted. Yes, I'm aware of the bug on the status page. No worries though, it displays High Rate's online players correctly.
Update: Chat bug fixed. People should no longer be muted.

The plans for WotLK... |

This is just a little update on our plans for Wrath of the Lich King.
This new expansion is the most wanted of the two so far. Me and Seraphim will soon be working on porting the core to WotLK. This will happen after the new server with 2.4.3 support has been installed. It will be the last 2.4.3 server run by us (unless there're serious bugs needing a fix).
So, hang on tight. WotLK is coming. Soon.
